Dartmouth '78 Friday Night Dancing to the Rocking Chairs

Be there Friday, June 13th, when our class dances the night away to the sounds of The Rocking Chairs. The band hails from Bath, New Hampshire, and has performed throughout New England. They're also well-known in Liverpool, England, where they return regularly to play some of the same clubs and pubs that once hosted the Beatles, one of their sources of musical inspiration.

Described by one reviewer as "reminiscent of tuning into a great classic rock station," The Rocking Chairs play some of the best music of the 60's and 70's, ranging from The Rolling Stones and Cream to John Fogerty and Eric Clapton.

People who have seen the band in concert say they bring back what real rock is all about: "music and rhythm that makes you want to dance and sing along!"

Be there yourself when the Rocking Chairs take center stage at the Class of '78 Tent.
